Who We Are
The Bayou City Event Center is Houston’s largest privately owned event venue, comprised of five distinct areas to host your event. Our large indoor Grand Ballroom is capable of comfortably seating 2,500 guests in theater-style seating, and 1,600 guests in an elegant banquet setting. These ballrooms also divide in to three usable spaces: the Cypress, Magnolia A and Magnolia B Ballrooms. We also offer a more intimate sized Lakeview Ballroom that comes with an amazing visual experience. Get outdoors with our newest building addition, the Lonestar Terrace or host an outdoor event in our covered Pavilion. The Pavilion offers our largest outdoor event space and is flanked by a massive parking lot allowing us another 135,000 square feet of usable event space.
The Bayou City Event Center is Houston’s top choice for any special event needing a large venue including:
- Large wedding and receptions, with the capacity for Indian, Pakistani and South Asian events
- Corporate seminars, meetings and trade shows
- Charitable and social galas
- Graduation ceremonies, proms and class reunions
- Rodeo events
- Bar Mitzvahs
- Birthday parties
- Fashion shows
- Indoor and outdoor festivals
- Holiday parties
Centrally located near the Medical Center, your guests will enjoy convenient and complimentary self-parking or opt for valet service. We offer exceptional in-house catering and also allow approved outside caterers.
Due to the special nature of Bayou City Event Center’s size, we typically do not bid on Saturday night events with less than 450 guests.
So, THINK AND DREAM BIG! We have the space, ability and desire to help you make it a reality for your event. We encourage private helicopter landings on premise, firework displays, elephants and horse drawn carriages, exotic cars in our ballrooms, overflowing food, elaborate programs, decor, entertainment and celebrities. If you can dream it, we will do our best to make it happen.
