Where is the Bayou City Event Center located?

We are located just south of Downtown and the Texas Medical Center. Our street address is 9401 Knight Road which is south of 610, bordered by Holmes Road and Almeda Road.

What does it cost to rent the Bayou City Event Center?

Usage fees will be determined by room needs and day of event. Please go to “Pricing” on this website. All usage fees include use of our tables and chairs set up according to specifications, clean-up prior to and after the event, available staging and public address system. Additional equipment (linens, dance floor, etc) and services (security, attendants, valet, etc) can be provided at an additional charge.

How many guests can be accommodated?

Seating capacity for Ballrooms A and B combined is 1600 banquet and 2500 theater-style. Seating capacity of Ballroom A or B is 800 banquet, 1000 theater-style. Seating capacity for the Chapel is 220 theater-style. Seating capacity in the Pavilion is 800 banquet and 1000 theater-style.

Can I provide my own liquor, beer and wine?

No alcoholic beverages are allowed in Event Center and Chapel. Outside liquor, beer, and wine is allowed only in Pavilion per TABC rules.

Can I use my own caterer?

Please contact us to see if your preferred caterer is on our approved vendor list.

What about parking?

There are approximately 700 surface parking spaces available at no charge. Valet services, if required, will be contracted by Bayou City Event Center and the client will be billed for these services.

May I use my own florist or decorator?

You may provide your own; however, all outside vendors such as florists, decorators, florists, audio/visual companies, entertainers must be approved by the management and comply with all insurance and other requirements as established by Bayou City Event Center.

Does Bayou City Event Center permit smoking?

Smoking is not allowed in our venues. The use of cigarettes, cigars, and pipes are prohibited. Please review “Policies” on this website.
